سچےمسلمان کو مضبوط قوت ارادی اور بلند عزم والا ہونا چاہیے ، وہ زندگی کے نشیب و فراز کا سامنا ایمان سے نشو ونما پانے والی بہادری و شجاعت سے کرے،اور خواہ تنگی ہو یا کشادگی ہر حال میں اللہ کی مدد پر راسخ اور کامل یقین کے ساتھ جیتا رہے۔ ہمیں رسول اللہ ﷺ کی سیرت میں شجاعت وبہادری کی بہترین مثالیں دکھائی دیتی ہیں۔ آپ ﷺ بلاشبہ ساری مخلوق میں سب سے زیادہ بہادر اور دلیر تھے اور سب سے زیادہ بلند عزم والے اوربا ہمت تھے۔
ہم یہاں آپ ﷺ کی دلیری و بہادری اور ظالم کے مقابلے میں مظلوم کا ساتھ دینے کی ایک مثال پیش کریں گے،ظالم بھی ایسا ظالم جو رسول اللہ ﷺ اور اللہ کے دین کا سخت ترین دشمن تھا۔ یہ واقعہ مکہ سے ہجرت فرمانے سے قبل کا ہے۔ یہ و ہ زمانہ تھا جبکہ رسول اللہ ﷺ کے خلاف ان کی قوم کی عداوت اور ایذا رسانی انتہاء کو پہنچ چکی تھی۔ ایسے وقت میں جبکہ اس ظالم (ابوجہل) کو اپنی قوم میں قوت و طاقت حاصل تھی۔ اس حد تک کہ کوئی اجنبی شخص بھی اس کے ظلم سے بچ نہیں پاتا تھا۔واقعہ کچھ یوں ہے :
قبیلہ اِراش کا ایک آدمی تجارت کی غرض سے کچھ اونٹوں کے ساتھ مکہ آیا ۔ اللہ اوراس کے رسول ﷺ کے دشمن ابوجہل نے وہ سار ے اونٹ اس سے خرید لیے ،پھر قیمت کی ادائیگی میں ٹال مٹول کرتا رہا، تا آنکہ وہ آدمی اپنی فریاد لوگوں کے پاس لے کر گیااور اس ظلم سے بچنے کے لیے ان سے مدد مانگی، مگر کوئی ایسا شخص اسے نہ ملا جو اس کی داد رسی کرسکے ۔قریش کی ایک جماعت نے اسے مشورہ دیا کہ تمہیں رسول اللہ ﷺ کے پاس جانا چاہیے وہ تمہارے ساتھ تعاون کریں گے۔ یہ فقط ان کا ایک مذاق تھا ، کیونکہ انہیں رسول اللہ ﷺ اور ابو جہل کے درمیان دشمنی کا پتہ تھا، چنانچہ وہ آدمی رسول اللہ ﷺ کے پاس گیا اور کہا کہ اے عبد اللہ ، ابو الحکم بن ہشام نے میرا حق غصب کر لیاہے، میں ایک اجنبی آدمی ہوں ،مسافرہوں ، میں نے لوگوں کے پاس جا کرکسی ایسے آدمی کا پوچھا جو مجھے میرا حق دلوائے،تو انہوں نے مجھے آپ کے پاس بھیجا ،تو آپ مجھے میرا حق اس سے دِلادیجیئے،اللہ آپ پر مہربانی فرمائے۔ رسول اللہ ﷺ اس کے ساتھ جانے کے لیے کھڑے ہو گئے ۔قریش کے لوگوں نے جب دیکھا کہ آپ ﷺ اس آدمی کے ساتھ ہوگئے ہیں، تو اپنے ایک آدمی سے کہا ،ان کے پیچھے جاؤ اور دیکھو کہ کیا کرتے ہیں۔ رسول اللہ ﷺ ان کے ساتھ چلتے ہوئے ابو جہل کے گھر پہنچے اور دروازہ کھٹکھٹایا ۔اندر سے ابوجہل نے پوچھا کون ہے؟ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: «محمَّد، فاخرج إليّ» میں محمدہوں ، باہر نکلو۔ ابوجہل باہر نکلا جبکہ اس کا رنگ اڑا ہوا تھا ،آپ ﷺ نے کہا : «أعط هذا الرَّجل حقَّه»”اس آدمی کو اس کا حق دو۔ ابو جہل نے کہا : ٹھیک ہے، آپ یہیں کھڑے رہیں میں اس کا حق دیتاہوں ۔ ابوجہل گھر گیا اور اس کا حق (اونٹوں کی قیمت )لے کر آیا اور اس آدمی کو دیدیا۔ پھر رسول اللہﷺ وہاں سے لوٹ آئے اور اِراشی آدمی سے کہا: «اِلْحَقْ بشأنك»”اب تم سکون سے اپنا کام کرسکتے ہو۔ وہ اِراشی آپ ﷺ کے پاس سے چلا آیا اور جب وہ قریش کے لوگوں کے پاس پہنچا تو ان کے پاس رک کر کہنے لگا: اللہ تعالیٰ اسے(محمدﷺ کو) اچھا بدلہ دے، اللہ کی قسم! اس نے میرا حق اس(ابوجہل) سے لے کر دیا…الخ(سیرۃ ابن ہشام 1/839)
میدانِ جنگ میں آپ ﷺ کی بہادری اور دلیری کے متعلق علی بن ابی طالبؓ فرماتے ہیں: «كنَّا إذا احْمَرَّ البأسُ، ولقيَ القومُ القومَ، اتَّقَينا برسولِ اللَّهِ صلَّى اللَّهُ عليهِ وسلَّمَ، فما يَكونُ منَّا أحدٌ أدنى مِنَ القومِ منهُ»: “جب جنگ گرم ہوجاتی اور مقابل لشکر گتھم گتھا ہوجاتے تو ہم رسول اللہﷺ کے ذریعے اپنا بچاؤ کرتے،ہم میں سے کوئی بھی آپ ﷺ سے زیادہ مقابل لشکر کے قریب نہیں ہوتا تھا”۔(مسند أحمد:343/2)مشہور یہ ہے کہ لشکر اپنے قائد کی زندگی کی حفاظت کے لیےاس کے ارد گرد گھیرا ڈالے ہوئے رہتا ہے، لشکر اپنے قائد کے ذریعے اپنا تحفظ نہیں کرتا، لیکن مصطفیٰ ﷺ کی شجاعت کے کیا کہنے ، آپ ﷺ اپنی بہادری کی وجہ سے دشمن کے قریب رہتے تھے۔
آپ ﷺ کی شجاعت کی ایک اور مثال یہ روایت ہےکہ انس بن مالکؓ فرماتے ہیں: آپ تمام لوگوں میں سب سے اچھے تھے،سب سے زیادہ سخاوت کرنے والے تھے، سب سے زیادہ بہادر تھے، ایک رات ایسا ہوا کہ مدینہ والوں کو ایک آواز سنائی دی جس کی وجہ سے وہ خوف سے لرز اٹھے ، چنانچہ وہ اس آواز کی سمت میں چلے تو رسول اللہ ﷺ سے ملاقات ہوگئی، آپ ﷺ ان سے پہلے اس آواز کی طرف جارہے تھے، آپ ﷺ ابو طلحہؓ کےگھوڑے پر سوارتھے، گھوڑے پر کوئی زین وغیرہ نہیں تھی۔ آپ ﷺ کی گردن میں تلوار تھی، آپ فرماتے جارہے تھے،«يا أيُّها النَّاسُ لَن تُراعوا»” اے لوگو! مت ڈرو۔” اور لوگوں کو واپس جانے کا کہہ رہے تھے، پھر اس گھوڑے کے متعلق فرمایا کہ” اسے ہم نے دریا پایا ” یا فرمایا کہ” یہ گھوڑا تو دریا ہے۔” )صحیح ابنِ ماجہ 2254 ( ۔تو ہم نے دیکھا کہ آپ ﷺ نے سب سے پہلے معاملات کی خبر گیری کی اور قوم کی گھبراہٹ کو کم کیا، انہیں سکون اختیار کرنے کا حکم دیااور یہ کہ انہیں ڈرنا نہیں چاہیے۔
ایک اور واقعہ جس میں آپ ﷺ کی بہادری کی ایک نہایت روشن مثال سامنے آتی ہے یہ ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نجد کے اطراف میں ایک غزوہ میں آپ ﷺ اپنے اصحاب کے ساتھ تھے، آپ ﷺ ایک وادی میں پہنچے جس میں بہت زیادہ درخت تھے، آپ ﷺ ایک درخت کےسائے میں اترے اور اپنی تلوار اس کی ایک شاخ کے ساتھ لٹکادی۔ تمام لوگ پھیل گئے تاکہ درختوں کا سایہ حاصل کر سکیں۔ اچانک ایک بدوآدمی رسول اللہ ﷺ کے پاس چھپ کر آیا،جبکہ آپﷺ درخت کے نیچے استراحت فرما رہے تھے۔ اس آدمی نے آپ ﷺ کی تلوار اپنے ہاتھ میں پکڑ لی۔ اتنے میں رسول اللہ ﷺ بیدار ہوئے تووہ آدمی اپنے ہاتھ میں تلوار لیے آپ ﷺ کے سامنے کھڑا نظر آیا۔رسول اللہ ﷺ بالکل نہتے تھے، صحابہ کرام سب وادی میں منتشر ہوگئے تھے۔ اور کسی کو اس صورتحال کا پتہ نہیں تھا۔وہ آدمی رسول اللہ ﷺ کے قریب ہوااور یہ خیال کیا کہ اس نے اپنی مراد پالی ہے۔ کیونکہ اس کی نظر میں ایک نہتے سوئے ہوئے شخص اور مسلح آدمی کے درمیان کوئی برابری نہیں تھی۔ پس اس آدمی نے کہا: اے محمد! اب تجھے کون بچائے گا؟ رسول اللہ ﷺ نےذرا سا خوف بھی محسوس نہیں کیا ،آپ ﷺ پرگھبراہٹ اور ڈر کے کوئی آثارظاہر نہیں ہوئے اورصرف اتنا کہا کہ : اللہ۔ اس آدمی کو اس جواب سے گویا ایک دھچکا سا لگا اور اس نے دوبارہ سوال کیا :کون بچائے گا؟ آپ ﷺ نے اس وقت ایسی ثابت قدمی دکھائی جہاں بہت سوں کی زبانیں ڈر کے مارے لڑکھڑ اجاتی ہیں،اور پوری دلیری اور اعتماد کے ساتھ جواب دیا:اللہ!! چونکہ آپﷺ کی شجاعت اللہ تعالیٰ کے ساتھ قرب اور اس کی ذات کے ساتھ لگاؤ سے پیداہوئی تھی۔ اس دیہاتی پر ایسا رعب طاری ہوا کہ وہ کانپنے لگ گیا اور اسے معلوم ہوا کہ وہ کسی عام انسان کے سامنے نہیں کھڑاہے ، اس کے ہاتھ سے تلوار گر گئی۔آپ ﷺ نے اطمینان سے تلوار اٹھائی اور اس سے کہا: تو بتا، اب تجھے کون بچائے گا؟ اس اعرابی شخص نے کہا: اگر میں بہترین پکڑنے والاہوتا(یعنی خود)۔پھر رسول اللہ ﷺ نے سوال کیا:کیا تم یہ گواہی دیتے ہو کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں؟ اس نے کہا : نہیں مگر میرا
آ پ سے وعدہ ہے کہ نہ میں آپ سے لڑوں گا اور نہ ہی ان لوگوں کا ساتھ دوں گا جو آپ سے لڑیں۔آپ ﷺ نے اسے جانے دیا۔ اس آدمی نے اپنے ساتھیوں کے پاس جا کر کہا کہ : میں ایک ایسے شخص کے پاس سے آرہا ہوں جو تمام لوگوں میں سب سے اچھا ہے،یہ بھی کہا گیا ہے کہ وہ آدمی مسلمان ہو کر اپنی قوم میں واپس آیا اور بہت زیادہ لوگ اس کے ہاتھ پر ہدایت پاگئے۔
آپ ﷺ نے اپنی امت کو شجاعت کی ترغیب دی ہے، اور اسے اللہ تعالیٰ کی محبت اور خوشنودی کا ذریعہ بتلایا، آپ ﷺ کا ارشاد ہے: «ثلاثة يُحبُّهم الله – عز وجلَّ – وذَكَر منهم: ورجل كان في سريَّة، فَلقوا العدوَّ، فهُزِموا، فأقبَل بصدره؛ حتى يُقتلَ، أو يَفتحَ الله له» رواه النسائي وأحمد. تین قسم کے لوگوں کے ساتھ اللہ تعالیٰ محبت کرتے ہیں،ان میں اس آدمی کا بھی ذکر کیا جو کسی جنگ میں جائے اور دشمن سے مڈ بھیڑ ہوجائے ،پھر اس کے لشکر والوں کو شکست ہوجائے اور وہ پس پائی اختیار کرلیں مگر وہ آدمی دشمن کی طرف واپس لوٹ کر آئے اور لڑتا رہے یہاں تک کہ شہید ہوجائے یا اللہ تعالیٰ اسے فتح سے نوازدے(نسائی، احمد)۔
رسول اللہ ﷺ نے اپنی بہادری کو ایک دن بھی ذاتی انتقام کے لیے استعمال نہیں کیا۔ یہ صرف اللہ تعالیٰ کے لیے تھی۔اسی بارے میں ام المؤمنین حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے: (( ما ضرب رسولُ اللهِ صلَّى اللهُ عليهِ وسلَّمَ شيئًا قطُّ بيدِه، ولا امرأةً، ولا خادمًا، إلا أن يجاهدَ في سبيلِ اللهِ، وما نِيلَ منهُ شيٌء قطُّ فينتقمُ من صاحبِه، إلا أن يُنتهك شيٌء من محارمِ اللهِ فينتقمُ للهِ عزَّ وجلَّ)) "رسول اللہ ﷺ نے کبھی کسی چیز کو ، اپنی کسی بیوی کو اورنہ ہی خادم کو ہاتھ سے مارا، البتہ آپ ﷺ اللہ کی راستے میں جہاد کرتے (جس میں یقیناً دشمن کو مارتےتھے ) ۔اور ایسا بھی کبھی نہیں ہواکہ آپ ﷺ کو کسی کی طرف سے کوئی تکلیف پہنچی ہو اور آپ ﷺ نے تکلیف پہنچانے والے سے بدلہ لیا ہو۔ ہاں اگر اللہ کی حرمت والی چیزوں میں سے کسی چیز کی ہتک کی جاتی تو آپ ﷺ اللہ کے لیے اس کا انتقام لیتے تھے ( یعنی مرتکب ِ حرام کو سزا دیتے)”(مسلم)۔

Today, I went to the beachfront with my kids.
